The bicycle takes center stage in the city with the Bicicletada and the Bike Festival (La Fiesta de la Bici), promoting sustainable mobility for all. On June 11th, a new edition of the Fiesta de la Bici and Bicicletada will take place. This popular event promotes the use of bicycles as a means of transportation and a model for safe, sustainable, and healthy mobility. La Fiesta de la Bici will be held on Lluís Companys Promenade, as it does every year, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. The Bike Ride will start at 10:00 am from Aragó Street, at the corner with Sant Joan Promenade. This area will be closed or restricted for cars from 8:45 am.
At the 2023 edition of the Fiesta de la Bici there will be a fair of organizations and different activities for all audiences. The objective is to promote bicycle use with proposals such as circuits, workshops, and games. There will also be the customary raffle of bicycle-related products for all participants. The fair of organizations will showcase products and proposals from collaborating entities and companies in the sector, offering test rides of different types of bicycles, such as cargobikes or the Bicing system.
