The Pulse, directed by Darcy Grant and composed by Ekrem Eli Phoenix, truly breaks new ground for circus arts, joining the extraordinary technique and skill of Gravity & Other Myths’ ensemble of twenty-four acrobats with the thirty-six exceptional local voices of the Orfeó Català Choir, conducted by Buia Reixach. The intricate, organic synchronicity of human movement and sound alludes to forces and ideas greater than ourselves.
