Spanish restaurants including tips in the bill

Business
In Spain, it's becoming more common for restaurants to include tips in the bill. This practice has not been generally typical for Spain. The tendency has started in Madrid and Barcelona. The size of the tip is usually from 5% to 10% of the total amount. Typically, customers are allowed to choose the tip amount from the suggested options. However, a customer can refuse to leave a tip, even if it is included in the bill. If he or she notices it in the bill 🧐, of course. In some cases, it is emphasized that tips are not just for a waiter_ress, but are divided among all staff members.
