Business
Barcelona continues to attract top talent as one of Europe’s top destinations for business education.

Barcelona is home to three prestigious business schools ranked among the top 30 in the European Business School Rankings 2023, according to the Financial Times. IESE claims the third spot, ESADE holds the 12th position, and EADA ranks 30th.

The prominence of these top-tier business schools highlights Barcelona's role in nurturing highly skilled professionals, solidifying its status as one of Europe's premier hubs for business education.

The rankings are based on diverse program-specific evaluations conducted throughout the year, encompassing MBA, EMBA, Master in Management, Open Executive Education, and Custom Programs. To be eligible for consideration, academic accreditation through EQUIS or AACSB is a prerequisite, according to Financial Times criteria.

Catalonia has a rich talent pool: 12 universities offering 591 undergraduate degrees and 687 master's programs. This educational landscape positions Barcelona and Catalonia among the top study destinations in Europe.

As Catalonia Business and Trade explains, Barcelona's IESE Business School and ESADE, established in 1958, and EADA, founded in 1957 have built on a legacy of quality business education, collectively shaped business leaders for over six decades, and continue to be at the forefront of educational excellence.
