Gran Price Vinyl Fest

Events
Date: June 17-18

Location: Mercat de Sant Antoni

The Sant Antoni record fair is brimming with vinyl records and DJ sessions, and the entry is free. The Gran Price Vinyl Fest 2023 is approaching, and as regular attendees of our record fair know, we always have a program of cultural activities alongside it.

Foremost is the DJ's vs Dealers event. There's no Gran Price without DJ's vs Dealers! During all editions of the Gran Price Vinyl Fest, in homage to the boxing matches that were a hallmark of the Gran Price venue throughout its history, our DJs are always invited to participate without their music collection. They are assigned a booth through a lottery system and have one hour to prepare a session that extends for an hour and a half within the fair venue, this year at Fossat del Mercat de Sant Antoni.

This year, the fighters accepting the challenge are:

  1. Pedro Generelo, a legendary hip hop DJ, participant in the DMC, and electronic music producer in the 80s and 90s. Currently, a DJ and selector of hip hop, jazz, funk, and related genres.
  2. Guille De Juan, owner of Curtis Audiophile Café and well-known DJ of hip hop, disco, and funk.
  3. Pubilla Hilton, hailing from Girona, regularly tours the European Northern Soul circuit.
  4. Sr Galleta, from Madrid. Owner, producer, and jack-of-all-trades of Galleta Records label, member of Upper Egyt Crew.
  5. Ishmael Sustraivibez B2B The Flying Carpet. A classic back-to-back act of the Gran Price Vinyl Fest that we wouldn't want to miss. Two DJs specializing in Afro-descendant sounds, reggae, and jazz, who always make the most of their booth.
  6. DJ Enzo is a classic figure in Barcelona's hip hop scene. Regular in break battles, accompanying MCs, and currently a member of the hip hop jazz quartet OGB Trio+R.
  7. Da Terror Bundy is another classic of the city's hip hop scene. Responsible for the Back In The Dayz label, producer, and DJ.
