Dreamlife Startup Awards 2023: A Recap of the Season's Premier Business Event

The primary segment of the event involved participating entrepreneurs sharing new business ideas at various stages of development and implementation. Each of the 12 participants who submitted applications had approximately 3 minutes to introduce their projects and receive honest feedback from a professional audience of investors, fellow entrepreneurs, and guests.

Participants hailed from various corners of the globe, with visionaries from Colombia, India, China, the USA, Sweden, Italy, and France. While each business idea was unique, they shared a common ambition: to change the world by simplifying and diversifying the lives of their users.

Alina Kabakova, Dreamlife Founder, remarked:

"As a business owner, I know that sometimes the most crucial aspect of starting and growing a business is not the investment or financial plan, but the space where you can freely express yourself. That’s why we decided to create a comfortable environment in our Dreamlife office—so that everyone could share their story and be heard among like-minded people. This event is especially for those who have a project idea but may still lack an understanding of the local market, necessary contacts, and business partners."

Some business ideas presented this year:

— Only U Bank: The exclusive bank for female influencers and their followers, introducing new monetization paths for female bloggers shaping the digital world.

— Phoenix: A platform revolutionizing the rules of the retail market and gadget repair industry. The platform includes an advanced diagnostic system allowing a quick technical assessment and price estimate for the gadget within 3-15 minutes.

— Totum: A business database for non-programmers to automate any corporate information. The data storage and management system are designed for users without specialized programming skills to easily create, edit, and manage information in the database.

— Stravopys: Contactless menus for cafes, restaurants, and hotels. It operates through cloud data, allowing users to enjoy a visually comprehensive digital menu, even when choosing delivery.

— Macha: A platform bringing together foreign students from around the world. An indispensable assistant for finding like-minded individuals in a new country, planning leisure activities, and finding services.

The winners were determined by an audience vote, including the professional assessment of invited investors. Dreamlife Startup Award honors went to the entrepreneurs with the top three business ideas:

3rd place - LessonMeta: An educational platform that transforms words into images, facilitating the learning process with visual tools.

2nd place - Stringteory: A biotech tool for guitarists, a user-friendly adapter for guitars to ensure that each instrument sounds as intended.

1st place - Aispeak: An educational project for learning English in the form of an AI-based learning app. It also had the cutest mascot, according to everyone attending the awards.

The top three ideas will be featured in our upcoming videos, reaching over 40,000 people worldwide.
