Karakala

Restaurants
Modern venue for traditional Lebanese mezze dishes, meat grills and stews, with tasting and daily menus.

The Karakala is a port, a ship, a book - a journey around the Mediterranean and beyond, towards the East, circling the world. Emperor Caracalla granted Roman citizenship to all inhabitants of the Empire in 212. We offer a stopover for those who want to enjoy the local experience while embarking on a gastronomic journey around the Mediterranean.

Wine is also a journey. It is the essence of a place, a land, a climate, the work of women and men, all condensed and transportable in a bottle. 3000 years ago, the Phoenicians exported their wines throughout the Mediterranean, all the way to Cadiz, on cedar ships.
