‘The Science of Pixar’ is an exhibition designed to provide visitors with a unique glimpse behind the screen and discover the process used in the creation of Pixar films. Visitors will begin their immersion with a video that narrates the process Pixar employs to turn an idea into a film. They will then have the opportunity to explore the exhibition and visit, in the order they choose, the eight sections that detail Pixar's production process.

- Digital interactives that offer visitors the opportunity to explore real-world challenges faced by the Pixar production team.
- Physical interactives that allow visitors to have tactile experiences to better understand what happens in the virtual world created by Pixar.
- Video stories, where Pixar employees share information about the complex challenges the company has overcome in the development of its films.
- Interviews with Pixar employees that highlight the variety of careers required and broaden visitors' perspectives on what it means to work in a STEAM field.
